Gym balls

I see that Jane (Serena51) had posted about buying one of these re. using to sit on at PC. I bought one a couple of years ago and of course it didn't come out of box. Well, found it a couple of weeks ago and got it out. It came with a book of exercises at different levels. I was sceptical but I can tell you I love it! 10- 15 mins on this really makes a difference to bs, when I can I eat in the morning, wait an hour then do a few of exercises and it has a great effect on morning levels. Exercises are gentle but effective. My husband who has always done lots of exercise has tried it and is also impressed. I also bought a small set of weights to use with it. It is great as it makes you use your core muscles for balance, but exercises are performed slowly, I find it very therapeutic, so give it ago. I was a bit worried about lying on it - thought it might burst  but this one can tolerate 200kg!

Hi Janet, why waste money on a Gym Balls when there is a cheaper option available, not only is it as durable but has far more uses, shopping, going to the pub, going to work etc. a greener source of transport has yet to be invented. Not only will you be keeping fit but you will also doing your bit to protect the environment.
