Hello you old boozers !

Looking around this forum, it's obvious to see some of us like to partake of the old falling down stuff, or booze.

It seems to me we need to ask ourselves some questions.

1. Does my drinking effect anyone else (be honest with this one) ?

2. Is my drinking excessive and could it be detrimental to my health ?

3. Does it effect my work or interfere with my life ?

4. Do I control booze or does it control me ?

If the answers are truly no to all questions, go for it, it's cheaper than shrinks and counselling.

No it didn't!

Mitch wrote: 2. Is my drinking excessive and could it be detrimental to my health ?

Yes it was and could quite very well have been detrimental to my health!

Mitch wrote:3. Does it effect my work or interfere with my life ?

No - it didn't seem to!

Mitch wrote:4. Do I control booze or does it control me ?

With the benefit of hindsight I didn't control the booze - it controlled me!

I'm happy with the odd glass of red wine with a meal these days or a very occasional whisky, beer or lager. However, I have seen the light! ;)
