Oh Fiona, you are not rambling on at all, you are doing the right thing talking about your issues instead of bottling things up; also I agree with Red, by talking openly about your problems you might very well help someone else who might be in the same or similar situation but is too shy to post.

It is obvious that you have had lots of stress in your life, particularly the last 2 years or so, having two babies so close together is damned hard work, it means lack of sleep, and worries over their health, feeding and colds and tummy upsets and this and that, much as we love and adore our children, we would give our lives for them wouldn't we and they are a whole lot of fun and so much love and affection there too, but it is not that easy and you also had to cope with moving to another house and are probably not even properly settled in and not yet used to your new environment and then you have additional problems, such as your own health concerns on top of it all.

I think you are coping amazingly well under the circumstances, probably much better than you give yourself credit for and I really hope that you have some good family support and friends to help you out and take over now and then to give you a bit of a break and a chance of some 'me' time.

Please dont feel that you are rambling on, keep posting and talking about things in here, its important to get things off your chest and that is what this forum is for, to support each other when needed, to encourage each other, to share information, our joys, trials and tribulations.

All the best to you and yours and a cuddle for the little Imogen and Lincoln
Karen

Awww thanks Karen :D

Yes, since L was born I've had a *lot* of stress. Mainly from him, lol! When he was being born, the midwife twisted his neck and we think this is what caused his upset/distressed behaviour. We took him to our chiro. (OH started to go for his neck, so we decided to take DS too). Since then, he's a changed baby... he still cries, but not as much as he did!

So yes, the first year of his life, I felt that I could've easily ended up with PND or worse...

Unfortunately, the "me time" isn't so forthcoming! OHs parents don't live nearby and my mam has her own health issues (she has COPD and is on oxygen 24/7). But, our nextdoor neighbour did say that once the children get used to her, she'd be happy to babysit for us :D .

And yes, I do think it's important to share these issues, especially when it could be that someone else could be suffering from similar and they don't know it - or are a little shy in talking about it.

Red, thank you about the names. Imogen was the only name that me & OH could agree with that would suit her surname and Lincoln was my dad's middle name - a tribute to him.

This morning, I went for a biopsy :( . It seems that this is a condition that I've had for some time according to the gynaecologist.

I remember having what I thought was thrush after my dad died. It was definitely after he died as we moved house and I remember living in this house.

I bought some canesten and remember hiding it from my mam as I was embarrassed and scared that she may think that I was sleeping around (I wasn't btw) and that I'd caught it from having sex - how naive of me!

I had been a vegetarian for a few years as a teenager and I started to eat meat again around this time too.

I think a few of the pieces of the jigsaw are starting to fall into place for me...

I'll have the results of the biopsy in a few weeks time, although it seems that it's highly likely to be LS *sob*.

I really need some big hugs right now. OH took a half day to look after the kids, I had a cry on him when I got home, but he had to go to work. My closest friend is on holiday at the moment, so can't even give her a ring to chat and my mam, well, yeah... she'll just make me angry or worry about me.

Dear Fiona a huge hug (((((((((((((((((((x)))))))))))))))) from me. You are doing amazingly coping with two little ones, T2 and everything else at the moment.
Take care and when you feel up to it, try making some sauerkraut - good for your immune system anyway, lowcarb and yummy. Karen posted recipe on here somewhere, if you have a food processor it is easy and all that cabbage squeezing is good for getting rid of any frustrations!

Love

Since getting diagnosis I got thrush. I noticed that I did so only when drinking red wine. My doc thought I was crazy but wine contains yeast. No red wine, no thrush.

hi fiona,
really sorry to hear that you may have this condition to deal with as well.
the thing is darling, if you do have it, you already have been dealing with it,
if it is confirmed you will now know what you have and then can look into
what is the best way to treat/look after yourself in detail, after you come
to terms with it.
Lots of warm wishes and support
love Red
